Hi, I’m Jamie!

I’m a traveler and adventure seeker based in beautiful Washington State, with a passion for hiking mountain trails, exploring hidden small towns, and discovering cultures around the world.

I started Jamie’s Adventures to share my stories, tips, and guides from my backyard in Washington to incredible destinations across the globe. My love for travel didn’t start until later in life. Growing up, my family didn’t travel much outside of yearly trips to places like Disneyland or Hawaii, and I didn’t leave the country until I was 20 when I crossed the border into Canada for the first time.

Traveling has taught me patience, gratitude, and curiosity about the world and it’s been even more special to share these experiences with my husband, who loves to travel just as much as I do. Together we’ve explored Mexico, France, Spain, Italy, South Africa, and Zimbabwe, and each trip has been life-changing in its own way.

In the last two years, I’ve also fallen in love with hiking. Living in Washington means endless trails and breathtaking views are never too far away, and I’ve been lucky enough to explore some of the most stunning hikes this state has to offer.
